How The Sailor Rode The Brumby

“The watchers tumbled off the rail.
The boss layed down and roared,
While Jack held tight by mane and tail
And rocked about on board.
But still he clung as monkeys cling
To rudder, line and flap,
Although at every bound and spring
They thought his neck might snap”

“How The Sailor Rode The Brumby” is a delightful poem and tale about a sailor who decides to become a stockman in outback Australia. The story and illustrations share a witty humour that warms the heart and captures the imagination.  Skillfully and beautifully illustrated by Graphic Designer and Fine Artist Max Caesar, this book appeals to both children and adults alike.
