Tinsel for Everyone!

Christmas is really in full swing here. As you may know I have 10 year old twins, who are still believers, so it’s the tree, decorations, advent calendars, gift lists, notes to Santa, homemade cards, sea food orders and musings on “I wonder what will Santa bring me?” when I tuck them in at night.  It’s also summer holidays, so they spend long days swimming with friends and eating watermelon. It’s such a fabulous time of year.

Shopping is high on the agenda for everyone, both food and gifts. I encourage you to all shop locally, wherever you may be. Support your local businesses, for it is they are who spend their money locally too, generating jobs for your community, your kids and your grand kids. Keep your home town vibrant and alive. Avoid the multi-nationals where you can, as every dollar counts and helps to preserve the wonderful way of life we all enjoy. If you cant do that, at least buy Australian. (sorry to my US & UK subscribers) Please give the Mums and Dads in your town a go.

Now for a change of pace. I’ve rounded up my favourite Rising Stars for this week.

Meanwhile, we have been designing a massive and impressive project with a Council, which Ill share with you in the new year, some super websites and some exciting new branding, still in development stages.  Its been super busy, and amongst all the tinsel and wrapping, there have been family photo shoots, boudoir photo shoots, pregnancy bump and new baby photo shoots. I feel very privileged to be a part of these, especially when they are for gifts for families and partners. Ill share some family ones after the gift giving is done.

Next week is Christmas week. Ill check in with you then. Thanks for stopping by. Nat

  1. Max

Great samples Natalie – as usual all upmarket stuff that is as modern as anything you’d find in the so called big smoke!

  2. Wonderful design, as usual, Nat! I especially like the Emily Rose logo.
